RECOVERY TANK:
The cyclonic separator and cold water spray separate the water,
foam and debris from the air flow without restrictive filters or
mechanical floats. Large debris is contained in a mesh
screen while the liquids automatically dump down the drain.
UTILITY REQUIREMENTS:
ELECTRICAL: 120
volt, 60 hertz, 15 amp standard plug
WATER:
Cold water with shut-off. Hot water (up to 170ºF [77ºC]) with
shut-off. Connect directly to water outlets or to optional
cleaning solution injector (AA031 or AA033).
DRAIN:
2" DWV drain to sewer. A p-trap will be required and vent
to meet plumbing codes.
EXHAUST:
If power unit is located in a small room, exhaust air from the
vacuum motor must be exhausted to the outside of the building
using the most direct route possible.
INSTALLATION:
POWER UNIT:
Locate in an area where it will be protected from freezing.
The mounting bracket should be firmly attached to a wall stud or
masonry wall. A minimum space of 12” is required from
the ceiling and on each side of the unit. The unit must be
mounted high enough above the floor as to allow for drain
connection and easy access to service the debris screen.
Vacuum inlets are conveniently
located near doorways, in hallways or other centrally located
areas. The vacuum lines are regular 2” PVC vacuum tubing
and fittings.
WATER OUTLETS:
Water Outlets are located next to the vacuum inlets. (In
existing structures where access is limited the outlets may be
located under sinks or on other wall where access is possible.
The water lines may be either 3/8" or 1/2" PEX,
3/8" copper or other equivalent tubing appropriate for the
building with connections made in accessible areas.
RESIDENTIAL LIMITED WARRANTY:
The manufacturer warrants to the initial purchaser that the
AQUA-AIR Wet/Dry® power unit will be free from defects in
material and workmanship for five (5) years from the date of the
first consumer purchase, and that hoses, tools and other
attachments will be free from defects in material and
workmanship for one (1) year from the date of the first
purchase.
